If you have everything under control, you’re not moving fast enough.
The source of the quote makes me smile. Of course, a race car driver would believe that. Driving at 200 mph would put everything on the edge of control. EVERYTHING for me would be just a little too close to out of the comfort zone. Maybe that is the point. We exist within that comfort zone that we create and do not venture to the brink of chaos. Maybe we should. If we venture to the edges of control, maybe we expand our horizons.
In today’s day and age, moving faster is not necessarily what we need. We need to venture out of our comfort zone in life. We never know what we might find beyond that horizon.
