It is easy to read the quote and understand the power of words. Most of us know from personal experience the affect of words on our psyche when we are most vulnerable. We realize that the intent was not malicious. It may even be more the delivery of the words than the words themselves.

How do we learn to harness this power. The effect is undeniable. The comments come in a moment and consideration is not made of the delivery and the choice of language.

Our job is to learn and to be genuine and positive in our interactions. The manner with which we deliver criticism and coaching matters. Its affect is long lasting.

Be aware of not only your words but the delivery.
