In an attempt to become a better poker player, I was listening to a podcast the other day. The podcaster made this statement that poker players often say to themselves, “I know that I should…” It is a statement that I myself can admit to making in questionable situations when I am trying to make the profitable decision during a poker session.
That statement, is a statement that we make often in life. How many times do we not follow what we know we should do? How many dollars have I lost at the poker table because I did not do what I knew I should?
Life comes down to choices. We know we should eat healthy. We know that exercise is important. We know that words hurt. We know…
We have to start to make the choice to do what we know we should in more situations.
