I mad this word map in an attempt to organize my thoughts about the political landscape and happenings in the first several weeks of January. It helped get the ideas out of my head but it never helped me to write something about what was going on. To steal a quote from another blogger, “It is easier to read history than to live it.” That is what the several weeks from the election were. We lived history, not only because of the pandemic, but the unprecedented actions of our sitting President. Those actions reinforced my belief that despite the narrow victory, the majority decided correctly.

All I could think that night were “I” words.

Inauguration.

Insurrection.

Impeachment.

Impossible.

I was stuck in disbelief. I only hope that we can now move forward and heal.
